UBC's long time rivalry with the University of Saskatchewan was renewed in 2011 in the Canada West playoffs. This year at Homecoming, the Thunderbirds will look to test their skills against an always-tough Huskies team in what promises to be a high-flying game. Come early for a BBQ, music and festivities at the tailgate party before moving into the stadium to cheer on the T-Birds football team to victory.

To make this year's Homecoming even more special, we will be honouring the legendary UBC coach, Frank Smith, for his induction into UBC Sports Hall of Fame. Smith coached the 1982 Vanier Cup Championship T-Birds team that some would argue was one of the greatest teams to ever play Canadian College Football. 

Every September, thousands fill Thunderbird Stadium for Homecoming. This year, help make it bigger and better than ever. Bring your friends and family; everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
