UBC Alumni at Bard at the Beach
UBC alumni are invited to a special production of Bard on the Beach's The Taming of the Shrew followed by a talk with the cast on Tuesday, August 28 at 8:00 pm. Guests will have a chance to reconnect and enjoy Shakespeare's classic featuring UBC's notable alumni and friends Lois Anderson (BA'86, BFA'90, MFA'09) as Kate, John Murphy as Petruchio and Dawn Petten (BFA'97) as Bianca. Behind the scenes will be assistant stage manager Kelly Barker (BFA'97), flight director Nicholas Harrison (PhD candidate), scenery designer Kevin McAllister (BFA'93) and apprentice director Patrick New (MFA'12).
